My assistant helped with the backing.....NOT.....but now it is all done and delivered! Now we wait to see what it comes out like. Kerry is going to do a meander all over!!
Meanwhile back at the ranch, after I had been outside trying to dig out more cape weed....a never ending job and one I will not win I know, but I have to try!!!, I continued sewing. But.....
how come the bunnies, and there are heaps of them, don't eat the cape weed???? That would be helpful, but then I guess they poop out the seeds and maybe that would encourage more to grow?? So maybe not so helpful!!
Anyway, I have made a Halloween sandwich, and two others I can't show yet...they are for a swap and secret! the Halloween wall hanging is going to Jenny in New Zealand...she will be Halloweened out by the time Tania and I have finished! lol!
trimmed off the baby quilt,
cut the fabric for the binding,
and started some batty free range quilting!!! Busy but happy afternoon! Happy sewing!
You have had a busy day..weeding is a tiresome chore..so it must have been relaxing to spend some time quilting as well
ReplyDeletewhat a great lot of sewing you have done Sue,awesome work.xx
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your hexie all quilted up. I love your assistant...my Hubby had a Chow when he was growing up and they are gorgeous. Just be careful those bats don't get into your belfry now...tee hee! I have been weeding too....never ends!
ReplyDeleteWow, how industrious have you been today!! Glad Tupai was doing his bit.... How exciting that the hexie quilt is at Kerrie's - you can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, just for a binding bee, and it's all done - you can count me in. I LOVE the new Halloween panel, Jenny is a lucky girl, although she will never have to buy Halloween decorations again!! Congratulations on such a productive day!
ReplyDeleteYou have certainly been very busy...that bunny looks like a pet one and I'm so glad that the Hexie quilt is finally at the quilters..I hope this lady realises that you ROCK!
