Weekend

Well we are back in Gisborne after a lovely weekend at St Leonard's....being by the beach was wonderful, hearing about the fires near Gisborne wasn't! I couldn't believe the changes I saw and heard on the weekend....
St Leonard's beach Saturday afternoon.....

..visitor in the apple tree.....

Queenscliffe Monday morning....

...black lighthouse and fort....

....love this building on the sky line.....

just missed the Tassie ferry going out the heads.....

Queenscliffe beach from near the black lighthouse.....

and again.....love the colour of the water here....

...beach between Queenscliffe and Point Lonsdale....must do this walk one day....(memo to self Lol!!)

Tuesday morning....the smoke has blown in from the Gippsland fires...

makes everything look very different....and brings home the reality of what is happening!!

..heading off down the beach at St Leonard's this morning...many subdued dog walkers today.....

believe it or not this is the sun this morning......

St Leonard's by the Yacht Club....

from the car on the way home....very gray, very dry....I did get some sewing done but haven't got photos yet so will get on to that next time.
Keep safe.
Happy sewing!

  6. As nice as our trip to the Mornington Peninsula was, I really like the Bellarine best! The best beaches for sure! Amazing photo of the sun.
