a few left over bits.....
nine blocks ready to go!!
there has been a workman here to day putting the fire insert into the fireplace - he has had a difficult job getting the flue to fit inside the chimney, but it is in now, he has to re-mortar the top of the chimney after taking the last cover off (it is pouring as I write this!!) and then we can use the fire from tomorrow!!! I am looking forward to that!!
Off to sew some blocks!
Happy sewing.
PS There are 8 blocks....boy maths and me are not good companions at present!!!
you are a sewing dynamo! the cutter would make the process less tedious.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing another great quilt. Enjoy your fire tomorrow :)

Your cutter looks like a great option - do you use it a lot? I've been toying with buying one but just can't decide...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the fire..you really are motoring through those quilts..I've wondered how much wastage there is with one of those machines, but it must make the process a lot faster.
ReplyDeleteYou are getting so much done lately, WOW! I am one of those who enjoys quilting my own quilts too. I've never used a cutter before, but it is on the wish list for some day. xx debbie
