I attacked the Bow Tie block this morning and after a few hiccups and some unsewing I ended up with this.....one of the blocks isn't quite right, but then most of my blocks have something not quite right....hey, maybe it will be called the NQR quilt instead of the Underground Railroad Sampler!! Hee hee!!
Bow Tie block...
and as I was in an industrious mood (these do not last long, so I have to strike while the iron is hot so to speak!!) I sewed the binding onto the quilt as you go quilt so that is now ready for hand sewing on the weekend.
Happy sewing!
You are doing good, hopefully that unpicker won't get called on too often. Did you see the Underground railway sampler I quilted for one of my customers some time back?here is the link.http://quiltmekiwi.blogspot.co.nz/2012/11/underground-railroad-sampler.html

ReplyDeleteI think that the instructions on that Railroad Sampler must be bad. You are doing a sterling job.
ReplyDeletea catchy title..I like the new name for your quilt, NQR..sometimes instructions can be a bit confusing..

ReplyDeleteGo you busy girl Sue! You might not think it thrilling, but you sure are industrious... (send some my way please?!)
