More wanderings

We have covered a lot of country since my last post...we left Caernarfon and drove through Snowdonia, Shane had mapped out a route...was through mountains, slate mines and little villages

This place is a cafe called Ugly Cottage......I thought it was pretty not ugly! Was made with large pieces of rock

This was just over the road from the cottage, it was so peaceful...

And over on the hill this castle.....

We stopped here for a cuppa, it was a canoe training venue with a lovely cafe, another beautiful calm place.

Now we are off to Chester.
