FNSI

Well another Friday sewing has come and gone...I decided to get some work done on the hexies...actually it is my only sewing project at the moment as everything else is packed....
sorted and ready to sew...

It wasn't until I put a photo on the blog about this quilt that I realised this hexie is in completely the wrong place!!!!How could I have sewn it there and not realised...must have been chatting or really off with the pixies!!! So some unsewing started the evening...

the offending unit was reversed and put back the right way!! These are sewn in never to be undone so unsewing is a challenge!! I did some other hexies but then my finger got sore and The Sapphires came on tv, so I switched to the crochet...

and tidied up all the ends on the poppies and gave them a little green centre.
Very satisfying!!
Thank you Wendy for hosting the evening.....you can visit Wendy's blog and see what the other participants got up to on FNSI.
Happy sewing.

  10. Glad you noticed that rogue hexie before it got too hard to get at. Love the bright colours against the dark background. Lovely poppies too. Hope there was just a little alcohol in that glass you have there... I shudder to think it might be water... yuk! :o)) xx
