Bellarine Quilters sewing day

Today  is the third Thursday of the month and that means sewing day at Port Arlington. For an extra treat today I collected Shez from her sisters place in Port and along we went. We had a wonderful day, chatting, sewing looking at some of the other ladies creations
look who was busy sewing!!!!

This quilt was made from a little boys favourite T-shirts, sadly he was killed last year and this is a memory quilt for his Dad to go on the end of his bed. The backing and binding are in Fitzroy colours, a favourite of all the family. Isn't it a lovley idea! Didn't take any other photos, too busy chatting!!! Might get to pinch one from Shez's blog once she does a post.
Happy sewing.
