Exciting day!!

Today we drove to Worthing to meet some  very special people.....
the lovely Jacquie and her hubby Jon....I was very excited that they were able to come and meet us in Worthing for a cuppa...getting out and about isn't  easy for them both so we were honoured!!!!
much chatting and laughing  happened...the time together passed very quickly...
As you can see it was sunny and very windy.....thank you Jacquie and Jon for coming to meet us, it was lovely to meet a fellow blogger....you are a positive, happy fun person to spend time with!! I hope we can meet up again one day! By the way Jacquie your directions to the hobby shop were spot on!! Thank you for that!!
Jacquie gave the the lovely pink bag I am holding and inside were two treasures...

It was beautifully wrapped, but I have opened it and spoilt the lovely look..isn't the paper beautiful??

and inside is a beautiful hand made pincushion...and little bird buttons Jacquie made....how luck am I!!! The pincushion is the prototype....the only one in the world!!! Lol!!

Isn't that so cute...it will sit on my sewing table and give me smiles from Jacquie every time I look at it! Thank you Jacquie, I love it!
Worthing sea front.
On the way back to Selsey we came across Arundel...actually we had passed it on the way and I said to David we had to stop and look on the way back, you are driving along and then you round a corner and see this....
doesn't this just tell you that you are in England!!!
we wandered up the High Street...

had  a look inside the cathedral.....

passed lots of little tea shops...

and lots of interesting buildings like this...
heading back to Selsey now.
What a great day.....
