Lovely day...

I have had a lovely day, eased into by being slow to get up.....I made some vege soup and paleo breakfast bread from a book Shez gave me awhile back. The reason for all this cooking activity was that I was having a visit from the lovely Shez. Shez has been staying with her sister in Port Arlington which luckily for me is just up the road!!
I am happy to say the bread worked out ok.....we enjoyed eating it for lunch not breakfast but I am sure that doesn't matter!!
we took the supervisor down to the beach for a walk...not such a good day, but good to get out in the fresh air...the supervisor was off having a private moment...
after lunch we had a sit and sew and put the world to rights!! Lol!!
and.....Shez gave me this beautiful present for my birthday...hee hee still celebrating into the next month, how good is that!!! I have been given a beautiful Shez decorated tin, with padded lid and inside, a sensational sewing kit made by Shez, love the colours, a thread holder for when you are working on a project and need to keep the threads separate, a bath bomb, and some beautiful batik fat quarters. Thank you very much Shez for an amazing present and also for a wonderful day. Was so good to catch up.
and as I write this the Supervisor is recovering from his walk.....hope he sleeps tonight like this!!
Happy sewing.

  7. OOO so lovely that you can spend some lovely time together. I hope Shez is okay. MMmm yummy bread. I so wish I could eat bread but they all have things in them I can't eat. Funny, I wasn't a great fan of bread anyway but now I would love a sandwich hehehe. Lovely gift you received in beautiful colours. Look after the supervisor .
