Wrestling...

...with the machine and my latest idea...I thought making a sandwich and then sewing scraps of fabric on top would be a good idea.....but I have been wrestling with the volume of the fabric under the machine, yesterday and today...is slowly coming along...a parcel arrived in the post today from Diane...lovely lady...but look at the message she has on the parcel...how can I wait that long????

..some quilting activity is happening...have decided to free range quilt around the shapes and boy some of them are free range!!! Lol!! Have to keep a good grip on the fabric or it moves in a direction I do not want!!!

I keep being distracted by the view out the window......by the way Diane I think we have your sunshine today!!

and the supervisor has given up and is snoring on the couch!!! Hee! Hee!

Hope your week is wonderful.
Happy sewing.

  6. Darn it with gifts that have to sit and wait to be opened! Your quilt looks like a good idea sewing those squares on later - hope you're able to take inspiration from the view and make your way through the quilting!
