Word photo challenge

Today is the day to link up over at Alshasspace for the word photo challenge!! This weeks word is YOGA!!! Something I do not practice although I think I should!! I did a class for a while before we  moved and really enjoyed it once I got over  worrying about any spare air in my system!!! While we were out yesterday I saw some people on the wharf....
just sitting fishing, so I though well that is kind of like YOGA practice...sitting still. contemplating.....

then I saw a seagull balanced on a pole...that is a pretty good YOGA pose, a two feet type balance?? So I decided to go with the seagull as my photo for this weeks challenge. This is good fun...how about joining us, you can see the other YOGA photos over at Alshasspace this week.
Have a great week.

  5. LOL it is a wonder the sea gull wasn't standing on one leg. I have tried yoga a few times over the past decades but never really liked it much. I'm not a fan of fish getting hooks caught in their mouths although hubby loves fishing. He has to eat the fish somewhere else lol.

  9. Yes, I'm sure you are quite right with your picture - sitting still and contemplating is surely a part of yoga!
    Very clever.

  10. I don't know if there is a pose called "the seagull" but there should be. They can hold a pose for a long time, waiting for something good to eat to appear!

I like the "sitting on the dock fishing" pose quite a lot too...
