A finish and an outing

The Aussie hero quilt is finished and on its way
I am quite happy with it, hope the recipient is too!!
In the afternoon I went into Geelong to do some geocaching..the first was the old limestone burners..I didn't know these existed
amazing these are still here

I could hear stones falling all the time I was there, just little ones.....it took me ages to find the cache, when I finally did, I felt a bit silly as it was huge and once you know where it is it seems obvious!!!
I headed back to Drysdale to look for caches around the lake and found these lovely gum flowers
and a cache!!! yay!!!

and this chrysalis on the fence...this should be on a tree I think, then it would be hidden. But isn't it amazing? While I was walking around the lake I could hear bag pipes playing...strange how I start to walk in time to the drum beat straight away!!! Lol!! When I got back to the car, the Geelong RSL Pipe band were having a few practice songs! Was wonderful! Now I had better off and get some free range quilting happening!!
Have a great day.
