Sit and sew #2

Today I have been to Port Arlington for the Bellarine Quilters sit and sew day...we had been meeting on a Thursday but now have changed back to a Monday. We had some amazing show and tell
this is a wonky star quilt made by Kate for a great grandchild,

this also by Kate for another great grandchild..love the flower fairies...

here is the back, beautifully pieced.

This is a quilt made by Magda, during a paper piecing class, aren't the colours spectacular??

this is another paper pieced quilt, a square in a square made by Chris.

here are some of the finished blocks made for the raffle quilt for the show later in the year

and this is a quilt made by Linda, it was a kit she got through a magazine, the blue colour is darker in real life

a close up

and my Dresden plate that I thought was finished, is now really finished!! Lol!! I added the center today.  We had a great day of chatting and sewing and exchanging ideas.
Happy sewing.
