This morning was the biggest morning tea here in St Leonards, at the yacht club, so Kath brought along her silver tea pot and filled it with hot water so we didn't have to go and stand in the queue for a cuppa...have a look at the tea cosy, isn't is amazing??
front and
back!
here are the lovely girls Kath and Jill, sewing friends from St Leonards, we had a great morning, had a short and entertaining talk from an oncology nurse and a local marine biologist about our area...the morning tea food was wonderful and overall just over $6000.00 was raised. Not a bad effort for a little town!
this was the view outside the morning tea venue.....it was a beautiful morning,
this afternoon my car has been in for a service, so I was filling in time in Geelong, not such a hard thing to have to do!! lol!!
I did get a little stitching done on the tea cup teddy...so cute!!
and now I am home and chopping up veges for a pot of soup! Boy the days disappear quickly!!
Happy sewing.
