the border is on the I spy Quilt
and I found great stripy fabric for the backing
I bought some Minions fabric ages ago and the girl at the counter cut it incorrectly, so I ended up with two different width panels, now they are four and a quilt top...some unsewing happened here when I had the Minions upside down on one side!!! That is what happens when you watch the tv and do not pay attention!!!
and today I found Minions fabric (flannelette) at $5.00 a meter...perfect for the backing!I was one happy shopper I can tell you! It was lovely in the centre today, two men from South America were playing their flute music and it was most peaceful and enjoyable.
Back home I took the Supervisor for a walk
I was a bit concerned we were going to get wet, but it was just light rain that dropped on us
this little wattle tree is coming into flower
and the native clematis is in bud too...spring must be on the way!!
I think the worst of the rain shower headed for Melbourne
Ok I had better head to the sewing room before I have to go back to Geelong to collect hubby.
Happy sewing.
PS I forgot, we have a new member of the family!!
