I forgot to say there was a spectacular sunset
this was the first photo, followed by
beautiful huh!!
This morning Raewyn and her MOML we out working, milking and feeding calves while we lazed in bed and had a cuppa....
this was the view we woke up to. After breakfast we had a walk around the farm
first meet Nigel
and Paddington. ..Miss Piggy hid away in amoungst the fruit trees so no photo of her
we walked across the paddock to see the cows that were due to calve
this new baby arrived last night (I think) and still had wobbly legs
We walked a little down the back of the farm and over the river
How beautiful is this place?? This is the farms water supply, from an underground spring...the gravel was more of a gold colour, it looks pink in the photo. Would be a beautiful place to sit in the summer
we pursuaded Raewyn and the MOHL (man of her life) to have a photo taken after we had walked part way up a hill for a view
Then Raewyn and I had a photo together,
the Farmer Palmer and his good wife
how wonderful is that view?
on the way back to the house we looked in on the new babies, how cute is this one!!
Afetr a quick cuppa Raewyn took us to her local quilt shop which was closed, but as Raewyn has a key I got to have a private viewing. Very lucky I know!
this is upstairs with a little of the Christmas decorating, fabric and patterns
and looking down into part of the main shop.
this fountain was near the front door ...I really liked this.
and the front of the shop...was a wonderful place, I could have spent ages wandering around looking at things.
Raewyn very kindly sold me some fat quarters that are the same fabric as the charm pack I used for the clamshells, so now I can mix these ones inbetween the others, and I also picked up a great stitchery frame.
Then sadly we had to say goodbye to Raewyn, we had a wonderful time with her and her family.......thank you Raewyn for making us so welcome.
I am so blessed to have been able to meet another wonderful blogging friend.
