Quilt Exhibition

Today I have been at the exhibition for the Bellarine Quilters at Port Arlington, we didn't have a lot of people through with it being Grand Final day but it was worth being open. A few of the quilts
Linda's beautiful wolf quilt

and another with fabric purchased in Canada while on a trip there

Jill's sensational quilt which sold last night.

this lovely quilt was made by Liane, she asked people what kind of things made them happy and then cut them out of felt and put them on the quilt....this was made while Liane was undergoing treatment for breast cancer - sadly she passed away last Monday. I have only known her a short while but she will be sadly missed by the group

this beautiful smile was always on her face regardless of how she was feeling.

a walk way of quilts, mine on this end

Rae made this quilt, her impression of the view from Clifton Springs looking to the You Yangs.

Chris made this lovely quilt

Barbara made this sensational quilt for her grandson.
I had a little time to sew rows of clammies together.
Another day of duty tomorrow
Happy sewing.
PS. For some reason yesterday my list of Blogs I follow vanished.....there one day gone the next...so I am slowly rebuilding.

I had problems with my blog list a few weeks ago. Some disappeared and I couldn't add anymore... they are back to normal now...
That's sad about Liane. Hopefully there will be more people in tomorrow...

Beautiful quilts! I wish I could see them in person.

My blog list disappeared two days ago and I don't know how it happened! I am also working on putting it back together. How strange.

Gorgeous quilts. It was very sad to hear of Liane. Good luck with the blog list. Once I accidently deleted mine, about 160 of them, and slowing added them all back.

I'm having a lovely catch up read Sue... there were lots of beautiful quilts in the exhibition; it's always great to gather them all together and see them in one space. The Mill looks like a beautiful place too. Nice to see your work displayed too :-)
