Today

I have been out and about with Angela, wife of hubbies war gaming friend Robert. They are here for a week from SA. This morning we went to Barwon Heads, Angela went off to explore the shops and I went to the Seachange sit and sew. I was there just over an hour and managed to get a few clammies sewn
nice pile done today

the we went in to Geelong to this shop and I purchased a nib type handle and some nibs for dipping in ink and then writing. I am in a travelling journal exchange and the challenge for the new journal is to write with one of these pens, so I need to practice!!

we went here for lunch and had a lovely meal

a little graffiti on a wall we walked past

the I got to look at this...yum!!

in here...nothing over $10 a meter, except the gum leaf fabric which was $14 a meter. This shop is in Ryrie St in Geelong...

and these were my purchases...the two fat quarters were my reward for spending what I spent!!! Lol!! Perfect for the naval theme laundry bag I an supposed to be making!!

this little beauty was $5.00...with a border added it will make a cute kids quilt.
On the way home we called in to Van Loons nursery/cafe and treated ourselves to afternoon tea
I forgot to take a photo so helped myself to one from their fb site!!
Angela and I shared the lemon cheescake and berry and apple almond cake!! So yum!!!
Back home to reality now, I had better go and get some dinner sorted.
Maybe even sew a few more clam shells!
Happy sewing.
