Wednesday

Today of course is sewing at St Leonards and we had a little extra visitor today who was very popular with everyone!!
Jill and Jenny with the little visitor, he is a 6mth old orphan kangaroo...all tucked up in his blanket and bag

he even posed fr a picture with Jenny!!

Jill shared with us her beautiful quilt, snowballs, the quilting was amazing, gum leaves and wattle blossom, is a king sized quilt, just wonderful.

Yep I had a hold!!

Getting a little sleepy now I think, he was cuddling down.

After a little while he hopped out of his bag and hopped around, we watched him near the door as there were people coming in and out and we didn't want him to get outside!

How cute is he!!

we stopped near the boat launching ramp on the way home, it is such a beautiful day!

the pelicans were waiting in the hope someone would be in soon and cleaning their fish!

This guy had the best seat in the area!!
Happy days.

  2. What a unique visitor you had! How lucky to be so close up and personal with him. The quilt is lovely too - such a simple design but clever colours/placement make it a real masterpiece! The pelican is a real beauty too, wonder how long he had to wait for his fish?!
