Circles are a go

The circles are all sewn on!! Yay!! We have been out and about today in to Geelong and back, I planted some vege seeds in the garden and some cuttings from an orchid I was given months ago....they have been languishing in a glass on the kitchen bench!!
Quilt top ready for sandwiching...

It was a bit late in the day but I got it done  out on the front table before dark

Hee hee only just!! I also found I hadn't made the backing long enough so I will have to fix that tomorrow.

I have been working on the backing for the Dignity Quilt, piecing the blocks that didn't go in the front

Have to add a couple of bits to the ends and then it will be done, the it needs to be added to the large brown section and more pieces added to each side of that.....phew a bit to do!!!
No rest for the wicked obviously!!
See you later.

  1. Well done - how good you've got it to the quilting stage! But a shame about your backing, hope it's a quick fix! Great to see you using your spare blocks on the back of your dignity quilt. PS I approve of your basting spot - it must be lovely working out here!
