Busy day

Today I decided I HAD to get some things done,,,so I took the Supervisor for a walk, he had a swim and a slightly longer walk, which meant there were lots of new and different smells to be checked out!! When we got back we did a little gardening, then had breakfast (I was a bit back to front this morning!!) then I got on to some letter writing that had been neglected and then decided to make another block for the Sylvia's  Bridal Sampler Quilt...I decided ages ago I would make one block a week...that has not happened, but today was the day!!

first I made this block, Birds In the Air, I was so excited that it came out at the right measurement that I decided to make another!!

this is Contrary Wife and it also came out the correct size!! Happy day for me!! I am now up to 19 blocks I think, many more to go, but hopefully I am back on track now.
Then I decided to wander down to the local Yacht Club, they had a jazz band playing, there were a lot of people there so I listened for a while and then came back home.
I thought I would make a few more book marks for the Geelong Quilt In Day at the Quilt which is coming up next month
There are now a total of 34 book marks so that can be my contribution.
Now I think I am off to have a soak in the bath before fish and chips for dinner!!
Happy sewing.
