Wednesday

Today we had an amazing big red sun come up over the bay very early this morning, my photos did not do it justice!!

It was sewing day at St Leonards today, only 4 of us today, but we finished off the morning with lunch at the pub to celebrate Lynda's birthday. I managed to get some stitching done in  between much chatter
the drummers are headless but coming along

the geese and swans are finished.
I found these interesting thingies when poking about on the web, from a site called Shabby Fabrics I think. They use 2 pieces of fabric, the top one folded in half and then sewn in lines depending on the size of holder you want.

they are ideal for scissors, unpick, any kind of tool really, they will be going on the wall in the sewing room.
I walked to and from sewing today, it was such a lovely day
as usual the pelicans were waiting for food!

wonderful to see the sun shining on the water.

it seemed calmer on the way home, the wind had dropped.

I had a wander along the beach and looked for beach glass.

It was pelican rest time this afternoon.
Happy sewing.

  6. Twelve days is looking nice! What a great walk. I am always interested in the birds when I walk, although I don't see pelicans here.
