I have had

a few busy days, Tuesday was sit and sew at Seachange, a few more bargain fabrics may have made their way home with me!! Not a lot of stitching happened but lots of chatting did, so a good morning was had. On the way home I did grocery shopping, then had a short walk and finally got to the sewing room.
I saw these feijoas at the supermarket and was tempted for a minute...but the price and the fact they were skinny made me change my mind. You see what I mean Raewyn...$1.50 each!!!

I have finished the top of another Aussie hero quilt today, it needs to be trimmed, the request was for medical and Kiwi themed....I hope it is liked!

here is the laundry bag to go with it, front

back. And yep the recipient has the same initials as me!!

This other Aussie hero quilt is awaiting its binding being hand sewn on, maybe tonight.
I had better go and get some dinner organised!!
Happy sewing.

  3. Can't believe the price of those feijoas - and the size?!!! Good on you with the lovely Aussie hero quilts - I love that they have their own laundry bags to go inside.

  4. Gosh Sue, cant believe those feijoas are $1.50 each. Wish I could post you a great big carton of them. My son has a hedge & by the end of the season we are all sick of them. Your quilts are looking wonderful as always.
