Today

has been a .lovely calm day, not too windy or hot. The Supervisor and I went for a walk this morning along the beach
the water was really calm, so nice after the weather of the last few days

we do not usually get many shells, but there have been lots washed up in the heavy weather
the Supervisor trudged along the beach heading back home, he prefers the track!

When we got back home I got my bike out and went for a ride...love the light windy days, so much easier for bike riding for me!!
I went along Cliff Street, which is a dead end, and found this  along the way. So on the way back I stopped, chose a book and carried on. I will return it once the book is finished.

I am here with Doing the Rounds...BUT...
I went into the sewing room this morning and found this!! Mmmmmm...where have I gone wrong??

On closer inspection, this section is missing a circle and they are more spaced out! Think I must have been spaced out at the time of sewing!! So some unsewing and repinning needs to happen tonight.

Today I prepared the EPP shapes to go over the seam between the rounds, so I am linking up with Anthea over at Hibiscus Stitches for her Piece Yourself Together celebration of all things EPP.
If you visit Anthea you can see what people are making with EPP.
Happy sewing.

  1. Doing The Rounds is looking gorgeous. Hmmm, me thinkith you may have forgotten a rosette perhaps? LOL must have been all that wind spacing you out. THe diamonds are lovely and I am looking forward to seeing where they are placed. Have you got the right amount???? Hmmmm? More coffee required perhaps. The idea of little book borrowing nooks is wonderful and I would love to set one up down here but I fear it may not last very long. The weather has calmed down here too.

  6. Lovely shells and the little library sounds great. What a shame that you need to do some unsewing when it was all coming along so well! xx

  8. You are busy as ever Sue. Loving all your circles ... gosh hope you don't have to unpick too much. That little library looks rather cool ... we now have a sharing shed in our town that houses books & fruit & vege that people can take or donate to. I left more apples there this week as am sick of stewing them & the freezer is full.
