Granville Island

Today we visited this  little island, which really is part of Vancouver, the market was amazing, the berries were amazing. Lots of shops where artisans sold their creations.
I found some houseboats that were cute

The hanging baskets looked wonderful
I found some painted silos
Painted by twins from Brazil who believe art should be out with the people, this is a working concrete factory. Love how the trucks can drive through between the legs!!
These water busses took people back and forth to the city, good for the tourists too.
We also found this shop, it had paper, books, pens of all kinds, gifts and journals...amazing shop. Domestic duties called this afternoon and clothes washing had to be done, I do have the stitching out, but feel I will soon be heading to bed. Quilt show tomorrow πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†.
Bye for now.

  4. What an amazing place! I wouldn't have known they were houseboats. I love unique places of interest. I would have taken ages in that shop. Looooove stationary.
