On the road

Yesterday we left Vancouver and headed thru the suburbs and some farm land to the mountains and a town called Hope. This place has many carvings made with chainsaws
This was in someones front yard

A sign I have not come across before!! 😆😆 we met up with Nancy, a facebook friend and quilter and her husband Lionel here and then travelled together to their home. They live in the mountains, up what seemed a never ending dirt road. Nancy had rearranged her humming bird feeders so we could sit and watch them feed..the photos are on the camera so I cant share here yet. On the way we stopped and looked at this jelly roll

A different one from what we are used to!! We had a great dinner and time with Nancy and family and then found out way, thanks to the GPS to the town of Lillooet.
Today we are off to Banff...just over seven hours driving away.
