Out and about

Monday was Bellarine Quilters day, one of the ladies brought in a beautiful quilt top the group had been given, now quilted and bound and it looks amazing

Today hubby and I went on a drive down the Great Ocean Road as we hadn't been down that way for a while. It was windy but sunny when we left but the forecast was for rain, wind and even hail in the afternoon
We stopped just out of Anglesea for a cache, which had me grubbing around in the bushes for a while, hubby ignored me and read up on the history of the place!

Beautiful view down the coast

Next stop just because

we went down to the beach for a short walk

this culvert was put in in 1954, must have had some flood water through to leave that big log behind

at Aireys Inlet I walked up to have a look at the light house

beautiful old style lighthouse
The cliffs just below the lighthouse

we had lunch at Lorne, as the weather slowly changed and the cloud came over, we came back overland thru Winchelsea, followed by the big black cloud

on the way home we had thunder, lightening, heavy rain and wind, there were several branches over the road on the way back. Talk about all seasons in one day!

I think it is time now to go play with some colour!
Happy sewing.
