Point Lonsdale

This afternoon I persuaded hubby to come with me to Point Lonsdale to find a geocache.
THis was the vies as we wandered along the path from the carpark towards the light house.

the Lighthouse came into view.

The end of the pier and behind that is Point Nepean.

Down the path to the beach

Under the pier..have never been here at low tide so was happy to get under here for this photo today.

We watched a big container ship going out the heads

the pilot boat along side

Our final view before getting back to the car and heading home.

Today at sit and sew I finished up three little stars. The collection is slowly growing.
It is a beautiful day here, I am off to the back deck to sit and read in the sun for a while.

  5. Did you find the geocache? Never mind - the pictures and views were all the reward that was needed. What a beautiful part of the world you live in!

  6. A beautiful excursion! The weather looks fine. Seeing your diamond stars tempts me, but I do like my hexagons. Maybe in the new year, I will have to try it.
