Today

I have spent hours on the computer getting the Geelong Guild newsletter finished, my first nail biting solo month...have sent it out for proof reading so we will see what happens!!
I have been playing with lots of different things, having a Dory month I think
I have been playing around with a plant saucer, planning on it being a bird bath. I has been sealed front and back and now I am working out a pattern, next step is to glue down.

The Aussie hero quilt is waiting for more quilting, it has been really humid today, so not the best for wrangling a quilt around.

The Supervisor is supervising from a resting position!

and very exciting for me, the desert rose has another flower coming out!! More buds growing too!

Last Monday at Bellarine Quilters Jill showed us a quilt she has made from scraps.

And Margaret got to blow out the candles on two birthday cakes, it was her 80th birthday.
I am off now to glue some glass bits and maybe do some quilting, it is also time to do more cutting for the One Block Wednesday to do this weeks 12 blocks, but the Minions have to be sorted first.
Happy Stitching.

  1. Oh I think your bird bath is going to look great Sue! Wonderful to dabble in a few different mediums I think. It has been cooler here today & no fans or Air con & how wonderful it was! Felt so much more energetic!

  2. Great idea for a bird bath. Have had the air con on for a while seeing as my munchkin was here. Still haven't turned it off.
