But wait there is more!

Saturday dawned bright and sunny even though there was a cold frost. I decided to get my legs stretched and went for a walk along the Campaspe River, (admiring but not using) the exercise machines along the way...can't get too carried away!!!

I still can't get used to ducks in trees!! Lol!!

just love this area...

so peaceful and I love the colours and shapes in the gum trees...

found a convenient post to put the camera on ...Lol!!

meanwhile back at the ranch.....look at the business....before I could get enthused it was decided we would head off down the street to check out the two hobby/quilting shops.....oh oh!! could be dangerous!!  Well wouldn't you know it I didn't take any pictures...probably for the best as in the second shop I did some serious credit card damage.......then we went down to the Murray River so we could see a paddle steamer and the only one there pulled out just as we got out of the car and went off up the river.....oh well....

we found a thong tree growing by the river, strange and unusual species....Lol!! I decided to try one on for size!! (Pinched this photo from Tracee)

"Oh no!! We missed the paddle steamer!!!"

....found a couple of tourists....

love the old buildings here...sadly a lot of what we used to wander through here at the Echuca waterfront is now fenced off and you have to pay to get to look at it....

someone has been yarn bombing.....down here....

and up here....

the one tiny weeny little paddle steamer we did get to see.. but now it is back to the house, lunch and back to work....
