We had had some heavy rain this afternoon and Lake Gisborne made an appearance in our yard!
Lucky I was n the supermarket while the worst was happening....I did ask one man (older person) standing waiting to go to his car in the heavy rain if he would like my umbrella, he replied I am not made of sugar you know girlie.....so girlie took herself off and did the shopping!! Silly old bugger!!
the storm is passing...love rainbows!
Off to do some sewing now I think.

the rain fell hard here too but not for very long so we didn't suffer too much.

ReplyDeleteLOL you don't hear that expression often BUT my daughters partner's Father has always called her girlie !!!!! They have now been going out for 9 years.... and he still calls her girlie.....
