this was our view for most of the time in the Park, with some up and down and creek crossing.
We found all 15 caches and hubby admitted on the way home he had enjoyed the day out!!
Yesterday was Guild day, so have some show and tell to share.
Lesleys quilt from when she first started quilting, each member of her group made her a block.
quilt for a grand daughter
Dr Seuss quilt for two nephews I think.
Another quilt belonging to Lesley, this time made with blocks from the same group of people as in the first photo, but 20 years later! Beautiful.
Love the play mat and birthday quilt on the other side of the room.
I managed to do about 5 stitches for the day!! Not to worry had a good time.
Happy stitching.
Glad you found all the caches Sue. Yes mine would spit the dummy about No 10 too!! (Or maybe No 5!!) Your quilt days must make you come home SOoooo inspired seeing all that beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you purposely navigated to the wrong place to find all those caches???? hmmmmm… fabulous show and tell, so many beautiful quilts

Geo-caching sounds like so much fun. I love when you have show and tell. You and your friends are so talented!
ReplyDeleteI've seen that play mat made by someone here. It's amazing. Beautiful work.

You are sneaky … I use this tactic with my hubby when we go shopping - "I just need a FEW things …" The quilts are lovely - I like the one with the purple theme for the granddaughter - gorgeous! Thanks for your recent visit to my blog.
ReplyDeleteThere was too much to look at to actually stitch! =) Such a lovely mix of styles and subjects in the quilts.
