We have had super hot days the last two days, so our summer bathing has commenced! Hubby took a photo for me, said the camera wasn't working but he was taking video not a photo the wally. The video does not work, but you get the idea!!
A strange creature emerging from the sea!!!
We thought there was an early weather change but it was not to be, 6 drops of rain and it disappeared!
Today I have been up to Ballan to a meet up of some of the Victorian sewers for Aussie Hero's. It was great to see photos of what people had made and to hear about AH events they had been to thru the year.
Lovely bunch of happy ladies!
Shirley showed us a quilt she is making for a challenge called Connections.
On the way home we stopped at the Old Ballan Cemetery
to find a geocache, and we did, waaaayy down the back under a prickly tree...I have the bloody scratch to prove it!! There are not a lot of headstones left here, but he first was laid in 1850.
This year I got my act together and made some Christmas cards
Simple but I am happy with them. It is that time of day when hubby is making noises about dinner, so had better wander along.
I am pleased to say the cool change has come...was 30 deg C when we left Ballan this afternoon and 21 deg C when I got home! Relief!
Happy stitching.
