FNWF

I started on the afternoon sitting out on the front deck, there was a lovely breeze which got stronger as the afternoon went on, I needed things to hold my fabric on the table
Most of the fabric cut I went inside
258 squares cut diagonally!! 😳
I sewed several triangles together u till I didn't want to sit at the machine any more
Then I cut out the lining for #6
And got a bit like a blowfly in a bottle doing a bit of this and that
A strip was sewn for the Mad quilt
And some hexies were sewn because I could - now these neglected projects have been brought to my attention I want to work on them NOW!🤣😂
I had a productive Friday evening,  thank you to Cheryll for hosting us.
Happy stitching.

  1. Fantastic progress in an afternoon even with the wind forcing you inside.
I am almost done with the stitchery on the bag - grass and ladybug left. I might be cutting the bag out this weekend. 258 squares is a lot of work, even more when you sew those triangles together.

  10. Such a wonderful place to sit out & sew Sue. I have been doing a bit of work on my deck table too but it gets way too hot out there with no breeze. Loving your hexies. xx

  13. What a productive evening. There is nothing wrong with working on multiple projects. That way they are all moving forward. I tend to flit from one project to another as well, as I seem to have a short attention span at times. What are you making with the triangles?

  14. Beautiful fabrics for those triangles. Wondering how they will be used ... I always go ga-ga when I see hexies and yours are stitched so neatly. What is this Mad project?
