this is 840 two and a half inch squares, all from bags I have been given, plus one square from the throw out boxes here. The light border was from an op shop find of Maria's and the main border also from the throw out boxes here at retreat. A truly scrap quilt.
Next project has been started
Another strip quilt, the bag is huge and very full so lots to make.
Back to the machine
Happy stitching.
Your scrappy squares look lovely! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a great scrappy quilt! So much work and a wonderful result. I wish I could join your retreats.
ReplyDeleteyour scrap quilt is amazing and soooo many little blocks!
ReplyDeleteYou did so well with all those little squares! I do love a scrap quilt.... now the stripes are on their way! Do you do your strips on a foundation or cut to shape after sewing.

Your scrappy quilt dancing in all those colourful squares is lovely, Sue. You sure do have fun at those quilting retreats of yours.
ReplyDeleteVery industrious Sue love the string ones - the 2.5" squares are a bit much for me - I've made a couple of quilts with a row of squares and a plain row...saves all that nesting seams...LOL
ReplyDeleteScrap quilts work out the best
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteGreat scrappy quilt. Do you make your strip blocks on a foundation?
