Slow Saturday

Hello!! Today has been a slowish day for me...although I did finish the binding and sew on the label of an Aussie Hero quilt while waiting for the plasterer to arrive this morning..
..this request was for green, purple, blue and horses...front...

and back...

and a quilted horse...that was a challenge!!

I have also finished the top of the butterfly quilt...need to get some backing fabric for this...the supervisor gave it a check....

and deemed it fine for sitting on!!!! Luckily we hadn't been for a walk and he didn't have wet feet...
here he was yesterday trying to avoid having his photo taken...but I out smarted him!! Lol!!
we walked a different way today and came across a very rare shell tree...with only one shell on it!! Lol!! Is a lot cooler and windier today so we are off home to get warm.
Happy sewing.

  2. Lol, I thought it was a disposable nappy hung in the tree! I remember walking along the beach in Rosebud a couple of years ago and there was a bra and knickers hanging on twigs. Great job with the quilted horse! I bow down to your royal quilting highness. You are zooming along with those quilts. Gusty, cold and wet here today.
