...in the plaster dust....yes the plasterer was here on Saturday and he did a huge amount of work...he also made a huge mess...I spent quite a while picking bits of plaster off the new cupboards and floor after he had gone....he will be back on Wednesday to sand down the plaster.....I am leaving home and going to Gisborne that day!!!! Actually it was already planned but I will be happy not to be here!! It was lovely yesterday to lay in bed with a cuppa and book, house was quiet, didn't have to get up for any tradie coming at 7.30!!!! Later I got to some sewing....
I have started on another Aussie Hero quilt...black, white, rugby and All Blacks for this one...
some blocks ready to be joined up...
I have also finished my Gail Pan table runner...quite happy with this one!!
Just happened to see the sun coming up this morning...great colours in the clouds...makes me feel good to see lovely sunrises!
Happy sewing.
That's the worst part about renovating - all the mess! Your table runner is beautiful, Sue.
ReplyDeleteThat black and white quilt will appeal to Collingwood supporters too. Gail Pan table runner looks so lovely. Be patient with the trades, think of the end result!
ReplyDeleteHello Sue,
ReplyDeleteLove the Gail Pan runner, the fabric matches perfectly. Always lovely to get up with the sun. Hope the tradies turn up on time and know how to vacuum as well as plaster.
Happy days.
Bev.

Definitely better to be out of the house and worry about the mess when he's gone. It will all be worth it in the end.
