This afternoon I am going to start preparing and cutting material for another quilt, a horse themed one I was supposed to make for my nieces 21st, which I am embarrassed to say, was two years ago!! This weekend I am joining up with Chookyblue to help celebrate the second birthday of the chook shed. You can see who else is joining up and getting the champagne chilled over at Chooky's blog. I am hoping to get lots of sewing done on this quilt this weekend.
Well, had better head off and get sorted~!
Happy sewing.
Sadly this wise lady is no longer with us, I am sure she is in a happy place dispensing her wisdom.
Goodness me that was a a quick finish!

ReplyDeletelove your horsey fabrics, I can't wait to see how you put it together. I made one a few years ago for a niece. It was quite a challenge at the time. Took me a few go's to get it done.
Happy sewing with Chooky

ReplyDeleteWell done! Yes sweet journey to the beautiful Maya Angelou x
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a wonderful job making all these quilts for others. Maybe your niece's quilt has priority on your list now. I don't think that the supervisor has been doing his job properly. How did he miss the deadline 2 years ago.
ReplyDeleteYour Aussie Heros quilt looks fantastic Sue. I'm sure your horsey one will be just as beautiful. See you over the weekend in the chookshed!
