out and about and catching up with wonderful blogging people the last few days...I started off with lunch at Port Arlington with
Shez,
Jo and
Lyn...we had lunch at the Old Bakery and found a table in their beautiful garden area at the back
I have pinched a photo from Jo's blog
Look at these two cheeky girls!!!
Jo's lunch!!! Lol!! No not really, just kidding!!
If nothing else we kept the waiter entertained!!!
Lyn with her lunch...
Guess who couldn't find a pole????Had to make do with a tree instead!! lol!!
I stayed the night with the wonderful
Tracee.....just love the view out of the doors....evening light makes everything look softer...
The next morning we set off and collected Marg and then set off for Craigeburn to meet up with the City girls....
Elyte, myself, Marg, Marina, Clare (aka Sylvia) Jo, Robyn and Tracee.
We had a wonderful lunch at a cafe near the Craigeburn Lakes complex...it was sooooooo hot outside, but lovely inside...and we had wonderful food...when we went back to Tracees car to return to Marina's, the car temp said 46 deg C!!!!!!! Far TOO HOT!!!!
Back at Marina's in the cool house, Clare, Marina, Robyn and Elyte sewed on..
so did Tracee and Marg...
looks like serious conversation over there....Robyn, Elyte and Jo...we had a wonderful day...thank you so much Marina for organising the day!
On our drive home the weather started to change......but the cool took a long time to happen...I stayed at Tracee's again and had another yummy dinner and a couple too many G & T's!!! My excuse was it was a hot day!!! lol!!
Tracee's puppy Justice.....the puppies are 6 months old now.....he has been playing in the mud from the dam, so I took the photo from the window as I didn't want to get mudded!!!! Isn't he a handsome boy! My car had to go in for a service in Melton...so Tracee came with me, and took me to a wonderful fabric shop and some things were on special.....very hard to resist!!!
two panels, the flower one and the little girl one, some gray and green fabric and buttons...and a beautiful batik fabric for an Aussie hero quilt...
after the service was done I did some geocaching...there is a run of caches at the back of Melton based on Aussie sayings....this one was "Has rocks in the head"!!! Was very entertaining for me!! Well I had better stop now or you will all be asleep!
Happy sewing.
