the request was for walking boots and walking in the tropical bush. As I have never been in the Qld bush I have looked at pictures and come up with this. The main part of the quilt was made by Jill, a quilter from St Leonards, we had a 1600 challenge and she used batiks and then decided she didn't want it so gave it to me...thought it was perfect for this quilt. The Supervisor was resting and not on the job today!!
Love the boots, I put laces on them to give a 3D effect.
When were away I was working on another block for the Seachange raffle quilt
a bit crumpled from being folded up!!
the two blocks together. I quite enjoyed having another go at needle turn!
I am off to the PO now!
Happy sewing.
