This week

The mess on the back of the couch
became five quilts, backs and wadding ready for quilting. These are all quilt tops, donated by Guild members, for the Oncology Dept at the St John of God Hospital in Geelong.

Monday was sit and sew at Bellarine Quilters

and it was Jacquith's 89th birthday. Some of the ladies had made her a quilt to celebrate.

The Supervisor and I went out for a walk most mornings despite the changeable weather

We even spied this man out swimming! Must have been very cold!!

Last week Dianne (on the far left) and I took 22 quilts made by the Bellarine Quilters to Bethany. They were very happily received and will be given out to families before Christmas time. We were told there is much demand for these quilts.

Things are coming along in the garden, this Christmas lily is nearly ready to open

this cactus is covered in flowers now

the Supervisor came to help measure out some wadding this morning, but then went to sleep on the job!!

Aussie Hero quilt ready for pinning

and this one has wadding cut, just need to find the backing and it is also ready to pin.
I had better head of and get that pinning done.
Have a wonderful weekend.
