I took Eve to the Mill Market on Sunday
Eve searched for cards and I sat in the car and sewed, I had planned to sew petals onto Doing the Rounds, but left the petals at home! So I did some stars instead, and the photo I took is on the phone, no idea how to get it to here!
Monday was a home day
This wasjig puzzle has kept us busy over the last four days and I am still trying to finish it.
We had some super heavy rain Tuesday morning...I hope it carried on to the drought affected areas!
Yesterday I went into Geelong and went thru a really heavy rain shower on the way home, this was the road going down to our place after the rain has stopped.
We had a beautiful rainbow later in the day
Today we have a beautiful morning, the Supervisor and I enjoyed our wander.
Progress on Doing the Rounds
Sandy from Shiralee Stitches is kindly sending me a little more red for the hexies I have missed doing. I have decided not to put circles over the petals as I can see my progress as I have sewn along.
These stars have been finished over the last few days. I have run out of prepared stars so need to cut some more..another job for today!
Had better go and do some sewing.
Happy stitching.
Funny you went all prepared with your hand sewing and left the key parts at home!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how much Eve enjoyed trawling the markets for cards Sue! I really love your doing the rounds quilt ... love the style & the fabrics you have used. Did each month come with the fabrics or did you choose them?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach picture and doing the rounds is looking amazing. xx
ReplyDeleteLove Stars and doing the rounds. Annoying forgetting bits....I did that the other day lost my needle....none in my project bag! Argggh! Boy that puzzle looks like a mind bender. It would be nice to blow the rain out west xx
