Tribute.

Yesterday we lost a beautiful friend and lovely person. Donna, who I met at the quilting group  in Gisborne, was diagnosed with cancer the week before Christmas, went into palliative care last Monday and passed yesterday morning. Last year Donna and I went on a trip of a life time to Canada and Alaska, I will have wonderful memories for life.

Donna was a quietly spoken, loyal, genuine, caring, creative, generous person.

She will be greatly missed by many people both here and overseas.

I am not looking for sympathy or comments, I just wanted to mark Donna's passing.

Rest in peace Donna.
