This and that

This weekend has been a bit of everything, I have had an Aussie Hero quilt to get finished, and several for the hospital to get binding on, so this weekend was a binding weekend, mixed in with dvd watching and book reading!

A heap of quilts with binding machine sewn on one side, the far right one is finished!! Yay!

The desert rose is looking beautiful, more flowers coming.

This afternoon I have been cutting pieces for the One Block Wednesday blocks, catch up time tomorrow.

and the Minion quilt is nearly finished, I need to sew in all the endy bits from the quilting.
Quite a productive weekend for me, even managed to do a little gardening!

    busy busy there... I find the cutting for the one blocks Wed take quite a bit of time.. .more than the sewing does....

    You do such good work for others and manage time for yourself as well.

    Sounds like a wonderful way to spend a weekend! I like the colours of your One Block Wednesday blocks. Beautiful flowers. The Minion quilt is a fun one and I do love that quote :)
