this geranium has been struggling but has produced some flowers
the lavender is heaving with bees
the wisteria has bloomed, the bees also love this plant.
the nasturtium is flowering
this is a peony rose I planted about three weeks ago, so happy to see it growing so fast.
the echium is also covered in flowers and bees
the plum tree is covered in blossom, could be a good plum season this year.
the big fig tree has new leaf growth
the smaller fig tree has leaf and baby figs!
In the front garden I spied a bee diving headfirst into these flowers, the bees must love spring, so much food for them about the place.
Now I am off to do some sewing.
Happy stitching.
Your garden is beautiful sorry that the mosquitoes like it so much, too! Lovely to have a fig tree. Spring is a lovely season. I visited the botanical garden at the university here on Sunday, it is a lovely place, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous garden! Too bad about the mosquitos though.
ReplyDeleteSue your garden is lovely! Your wisteria is ahead of mine. echium reminds me of my Mum she had it in her garden too. Naughty bugs for eating you!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos and blooms. Your garden is so much further advanced than ours, which is only just starting to wake up, and of course, your plentiful wet stuff from the sky makes a bit of a difference too.

Your garden is looking so pretty Sue. What a shame you have the mozzies. Your wisteria is way ahead of mine - it is just in bud here but no flowers. I am off outside soon Sue as the sun is out here for a change!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blossoms everywhere! The bees are definitely having a Springtime feast at your place Sue....wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Spring has definitely SPRUNG there! I am sure you are basking in the glory of all that fresh growth (and it seems, so are the bees!) We are cooling down quickly and leaves are changing colors. So the world turns! Enjoy the rest of your week (hopefully with fewer of those nasty mosquitoes)!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely time of year
ReplyDeleteYour garden has so much loveliness Sue! It's just a little ahead of ours. Interesting to hear the mossies are out and about already?!
ReplyDeleteVery happy spring pics. Our trees are slow to blossom this year. Gee, so many mossies already!
ReplyDeleteAh, spring, anywhere in the world! What lovely photos you achieved. I like that I recognize some plants, and others are different ones I don't know.
