International Sisters quilt

I am claiming a finish!! Really I have the label to write, it is sewn on, and also the hanging sleeve to stitch on. I am super happy with the quilt and it will be a very special quilt to me from now on.

Ta dah!!! It took several attempts to get this photo, I had the camera set up om the kitchen bench on the timer delay, I kept on cutting off one side and then the other..finally just as hubbies patience was running out I got the one I wanted!!Thank you Preeti of Sew Preeti Quilts for drafting this pattern and making it available for others of us to make.
Happy stitching.

  4. Oh Sue, my dear sister, Sue, this is indeed a quilt of happiness!!! It makes me very happy. It is a spectacular finish, made even more special by the blue sashing. Gosh girl, that must have taken so much extra time than just putting the blocks together. But I can see why you chose to do the extra work - it is totally worth it. It is time to party with my sisters :-) Sending big hugs to you.
