I am starting early this afternoon...well when I say early it is nearly 3pm already!
Some tidying has happened in the sewing room
Ingrid and I have been following Pat Sloans Crazy March month prompts, The prompt yesterday was to tidy something up...great motivation for me!! So the sewing table got some attention, a part finished project was packed away, and the dust was removed!! I think seeds could have been grown in the dust!!
This morning I laid out and cut batting and backing for three quilt tops I have been given
Oops that is a bit sideways!! These three quilts are to go to the oncology ward. They have now gone to Joan for quilting.
Not super tidy but much better than it was.
I am off now to start FNWF even if it is the afternoon.
Happy stitching.
Your sewing room looks quite good from here. Rather like mine. I tidy up but it still needs decluttering. Those quilts are lovely. Enjoy the afternoon and evening.
ReplyDeleteYour room is looking much better, and you did some good work there. That was a great inspiration. I often collect dust at home, too! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat's a great start. Have a fun night.
ReplyDeleteMore wonderful quilts! I think your sewing room is bigger than my apartment.
ReplyDeleteGood start on the sewing room..Great to have the donated quilts organised for quilting..
ReplyDeleteyou have to start small. otherwise you would be overwhelmed. great work prepping the quilts.
ReplyDeleteGood on you with the progress on your room! i hope the rest of your day was just as productive!
ReplyDeleteNice tidy desk! Good work and hope you enjoed your evening - mine is just starting. xx
ReplyDeleteGreat improvement in your sewing room
ReplyDeleteTrust you are doing ok xoxo
I can see the improvement in your sewing room, but it isn't SO improved that I feel discouraged about mine. =) Enjoy your Friday Night With Friends evening.
ReplyDeleteCreativity is messy. When you are trying to find the perfect match you have to go through a dozen wrong ones. And when you find it you are too excited to think about cleaning. You want to stitch. That is my story :-) I love all the happenings in your studio - messy or not. Hope you had a blast Friday night with friends. We were together in spirit. Hugs to you!!!
ReplyDeleteGood job with the tidying... and getting those quilts ready...
ReplyDeleteHugz
Good on you for making a start on tidying your sewing room. Mine seems to have regressed somewhat. Too many current projects on the table. Time for me to tidy them away. I love the jacobs ladder quilt you have prepped for quilting.
