I made a block for a comfort quilt which has gone in the post today.
This quilt has been quilted, bound and labelled, this was the needle breaking quilt!
Ingrid's quilt is quilted, bound and labelled.
Two bags packed and ready to go. I have to go back to Geelong tomorrow so will try for delivery again.
We have had some interesting cloud formations around here the last week or so.
The galahs are around the besting boxes in the bush, it is great to see them using the boxes.
I had better head off and get my head around an Anthology block, it is due today!! Gulp!
Happy stitching.
Your quilting is fantastic, as always. Some people just don't bother keeping any rules, same here! Great photos, too. Have agreat day, take care, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteIt sure feels good to get a lot of those little jobs all rounded up, and I don't blame you for feeling uncomfortable standing too close. Hope things settle soon.
ReplyDeleteThose quilts are amazing! Love the colours, and the comfort quilt. Aren't they all for comfort?
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like home is the safest place to be, Sue. And your time at home is being used well - lovely quilts, you really are churning out the finishes :-) Your heart block is gorgeous - a great way to use that fabric. How pretty the Galahs are!
ReplyDeleteParking is such a pain... I do feel around hospitals it should be better, imagine being a patient and not getting a park nearby... the quilts are lovely... well done to hyou and Ingrid. I see Victoria has a spike in numbers so I'm not surprised you are a bit nervous, even if it's not hot spots where yoiu are.... people get very relaxed again so quickly...
ReplyDeleteHugz
The heart block is lovely as are all the finished quilts - quite a supply so you definitely needed a good car parking space. better luck next time!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me unsettled at present when folk stand too close to me too Sue - they disregard the two metre distancing. It makes me feel anxious when I go out & this happens. Your quilts are lovely. xx
ReplyDeleteI’ve finally had a chance to catch up on blog reading. Wasn’t Chooky’s party fun. I’ve enjoyed seeing everything you and Ingrid have been up to. You did spoil her for her birthday. What an amazing cake! All your stitching looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilts.
ReplyDeleteYou rock making so many amazing quilts! You put my small efforts to shame. Love the area you live in.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to deliver the lovely quilts next time..
ReplyDeleteThe needle breaking Quilt of Ingrid s turned out beautiful...
Really enjoyed our chat with Fiona, Michelle and you today.
I did get a heart block for Anderson's Farm done ...
Parking lot was full??? Why? I would have totally yelled at anybody getting closer than two meters. I actually did, two days ago. I love all the variations of red and pink in Ingrid's quilt. I love the pattern too - so unique and and so striking. I am sure Ingrid will love it and I am hoping you have better luck parking tomorrow. Big Hugs to you, Sue.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy week. Hope you found a parking spot - one of the nice things about lockdown was the lack of traffic on the roads and plenty of parking when I had to go into town! xx
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful landscape!
ReplyDeleteIngred's quilt is gorgeous and looks like perfection!
The half square triangle quilt is gorgeous!
