Scrub stitching on Saturday

I am finally back  I managed to sign myself out of google and so couldn't do a post or comment on blogs, I have searched thru packed boxes and drawers under beds and found my passwords book, now we can get back to business.

Saturday was a busy sewing day for the girls

Busy bees sewing away

Jo was challenged to make use of the cut off squares from her twister quilt, so she made a mini twister, that she then made into a table mat with a zipper part for cutlery. This was taken part way through.

This is Janice's twister quilt top, Saturday evening we had a special dinner, the theme was red.

Ronnie and Annette our lovely caterers

Jo, me, Chooky and Janice.

Jo having fun!

The ladies at the dinner table, lots of red here.

Chooky and  rentals folding serviettes for the table - this photo has jumped out of order.

After dinner it was show and tell time, there were so many beautiful things to see, here are a few

Enthralled audience

So many beautiful quilts.

A project in progress

Beautiful animals made on an embroidery machine.
And a personalised book case quilt.
Last years project, Janice made the cushion as in the pattern, Brenda made a bag and I put the epp on the back of a shirt.

And finally the group photo that evening, minus Jenny who wasn't feeling good.
Are you still awake? I think that is enough for this post, going home starts in the morning.
If you pop over to  Janice's blog you can see  more show and tell a who made them.
Happy stitching.
