FNWF and the rest of the week

Last Friday was Friday Night with Friends organised by the lovely Cheryll at Gone Stitchin' , I am late getting this post done and my phone and lap top are not playing nice!

Friday evening I did a few bits and pieces

This big hexie was sewn into place and several others were pinned into place ready to be sewn
Some cutting and gluing was done  on these blocks, I am trying out the wash our stabiliser, not so good on the points but slowly getting there.
Thru the week I have finished these two quilts, given to me for the Oncology collection, they needed quilting and binding...both done only another 25 to go!!

We visited Adam and Beth, that of course means time with the grand fur babies
Hank keeping an eye on everything going on

as was Miss Tira

Today I walked them with Adam, they both had a short swim

I have two orchids in on the dining table, the red one has been outside and finally had two flower spikes, sadly one broke off when it was a windy day and the pot fell over, the yellow one I bought last weekend.

Today I made a foundation paper pieced block for an Aussie hero quilt, it is meant to be gum blossoms and leaves, I still have to do some stems.
The Aussie hero quilt is finished and on it way to it's new home.
Last weeks Anthology blocsk.
I had better head off and get some dinner sorted quick smart!
Happy stitching.
